The clitoris is a sexual organ which is only found in female mammals. In humans, the visible button-like part is located near the front junction of the labia minora, before the opening of the urethra and vagina (see above illustration). In contrast to the penis, which is homologous to the clitoris, the clitoris does not include the distal part of the urethra and functions solely on the initiative of sexual pleasure. The only known exception to this is in the Spotted Hyena. In these species, the urogenital system is unique, because the female urinates, mates and gives birth on an extended, erectile clitoris which is also known as a pseudo-penis.

Vaginoplasty is a surgical procedure performed on female genitalia for improving sexual exhancement. It involves a cosmetic and reconstructive surgery in order to improve the appearance and tone of the vagina by tightening its muscles, support tissues and reduce the relaxed vaginal tissue lining. This surgery allows a woman who has weakened the muscles of the vaginal due to childbirth to regain the strength it once had in this area. It can also improve sexual relationships for the woman and add some spark to a couple’s love life. A woman who is determined to maximize her sensations during sexual gratification, improve the appearance of her genitalia, restore her self-esteem and rejuvenate her love life, is an ideal candidate for vaginoplasty. Women suffering from stress urinary incontinence (involuntary loss of urine with coughing, sneezing, laughing, exercising, or sex) may also have the problem corrected by vaginoplasty.

They can ensnare even the relatively young and the recently married. When they are unable to blame kids, stress or physical issues, many couples struggle unhappily to identify and resolve the problems behind their lackluster sex life. Couples end up in sexually unfulfilling marriages for a variety of reasons, says Marty Klein, a licensed marriage counselor and certified sex therapist in Palo Alto, California. One reason, he says, is America’s obsession with marriage.

To understand better about erectile dysfunction, it is important to understand how a normal erection occurs. Contrary to popular belief, the brain is the biggest sexual organ and aware of erections which are the result of a pulse sent by the brain to the central nervous system. The nervous system then tells the party’s muscular corpora cavernosa of the penis to relax. Once the corpus cavernosum called the tunica albuginea gets filled with blood, the muscular corpus cavernosum then expands. The enlarging the corpora cavernosa resultis in an erection.
